The $400 million First Heritage Federal Credit Union in Painted Post, N.Y. announced that Justin Michael Dildine has joined as a commercial loan officer. He will be responsible for developing new business banking relationships, including commercial lending, within the credit union’s three-county market area. Before joining First Heritage, Dildine was branch manager of the $54 million Visions Federal Credit Union’s Horsehead, N.Y office, where he was responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, as well as managing new accounts, lending activity and supervising staff. He is a 2006 graduate of Mansfield University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.
The Iowa Credit Union League in Des Moines announced a promotion and two new hires to the trade association. Olivia Rockers was recently promoted to senior marketing specialist. In this role, Rockers oversees the legislative advocacy campaign, website management, and develops and implements marketing plans and materials for ICUL and its operating companies. Rockers is a graduate of Iowa State University. She is a member of the American Marketing Association, CUNA’s Marketing & Business Development Council and the Iowa Society of Association Executives.
Andrea Dickinson was hired as member outreach coordinator. In this position, Dickinson provides assistance and guidance to member credit unions in the areas of operations, financial conditions, strategy and business development. Prior to joining ICUL, Dickinson served as a branch manager for the $114 million Financial Plus Credit Union in West Des Moines. She is a graduate of Iowa State University.
Jami Weems was hired as management consultant. In this position, Weems serves as a strategic partner and advocate to individual credit unions in order to help them identify goals, challenges and prepare for the future development of their credit union. Prior to joining ICUL, Weems served as senior compliance officer for PolicyWorks in Des Moines. She is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa.
The $7 billion Security Service Federal Credit Union in San Antonio announced the promotion of Glynis Miller to retail-internet sales manager. In her new position, Miller will be responsible for the management of mortgage loan officers and organization of retail and internet channel functions across all lending territories. Miller joined SSFCU in 2011 as an internet loan advisor and has several years of experience in the financial services industry. Her previous work includes employment with Wachovia/Wells Fargo where she served as a quality assurance manager.
The $1 billion Sharonview Federal Credit Union in Fort Mill, S.C. has announced the selection of William (Bill) W. Partin Jr. as the organization’s new president/ CEO effective Oct. 21. Partin has spent the last eight years with the $1.2 billion Partners Federal Credit Union in Burbank, Calif., and served as the senior vice president. Partin was an instrumental part of the senior leadership team that doubled the asset size of the credit union and drove performance, resulting in a 2012 Raddon Crystal Performance Award.
The $515 million Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union in Austin, Texas has named Larry Hudson as the credit union’s new senior vice president/chief lending officer starting Sept. 16. Hudson brings with him 22 years of credit union experience and 34 years of financial expertise. Most recently, he was the senior vice president & chief administrative officer at the $38 million SPCO Credit Union in Houston.
The $3.5 billion Mountain America Credit Union in West Jordan, Utah, announced that Jared Johnstone was appointed president of Mountain America Financial Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the credit union. Prior to his appointment he served as the vice president of deposit operations and business services for Mountain America, where he administered all of the credit union’s deposit programs.
DeLeon & Stang in Gaithersburg, Md. has announced the promotion of four employees.
Hired in 2004, Lutamila Sallu was promoted to senior manager and quality reviewer in the audit and assurance services department. He plays a major role in staff development and retention initiatives while carrying on the responsibilities of working with engagement partners and staff to develop audit plans, objectives and schedules, as well as determine budgets and resources for audit, attestation and assurance engagements, consistent with assessed risk levels.
Ryan Crabbs joined DeLeon & Stang in 2007 and was promoted to supervisor. He is responsible for overseeing the preparation of audit plans and audited financial statements. He works primarily with clients in the nonprofit and commercial industries.
Josephine Laleye has been with the firm since 2006. As a supervisor, she will oversee attestation engagements, including completion of audits, reviews and compilations in the firm’s Community Association division.
Eddie Heppes joined DeLeon & Stang in 2009. In his new role as in-charge, he will be responsible for preparing employee benefit plan audits, audited financial statements and reports, as well as overseeing financial statement preparation for numerous nonprofit organizations.
