CUNA Mutual Touts Virtual Confab Turnout
CUNA Mutual Group said this week that it notched 2,185 registrants for its Online Discovery Conference, the most yet in the annual event’s four years.
The Oct. 1 virtual conference included 13 sessions with an emphasis on helping credit unions remain relevant to members, manage compliance risk and drive growth, the Madison, Wis., company said.

The sessions are now archived. “If you missed the live event, it’s not too late to participate,” said Christy LaMasney, Online Discovery Conference manager. “You can still access the conference on demand, for free, by simply registering.”
The 2,185 registrants included more than 50 from 10 other countries. One of the participants, Dallas Pitts of the $103 million FAA Federal Credit Union based in Memphis, Tenn., won free registration and $1,000 in travel expenses to the 2014 America’s Credit Union Conference in San Francisco, Calif., next summer.
The show prize winner was randomly drawn from a list of 25 attendees who earned the most show prize points through their active participation in the conference, CUNA Mutual said.
