Author, journalist and Clinton Administration confidant Paul Begala was the keynote speaker on the opening day of NAFCU's Congressional Caucus. The event, at Washington’s Mayflower Hotel, drew nearly 400 attendees.
Rep. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) addresses NAFCU Congressional Caucus attendees. Capito is chairman of the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit. In July, she grilled the CFPB’s then-Acting Deputy Director Steve Antonakes about the bureau’s collection of Americans' personal financial data.
