The $148 million, 14,500 member United Educators Credit Union in Apple Valley, Minn., has named Paul Dammann as its new president/CEO.
The credit union’s board chose Dammann to succeed the retiring Delbert Danielson in the top job at the 14,500-member United Educators. The Bloomington, Minn., resident will assume the post in September, the credit union said in an announcement Monday.
Dammann has more than 25 years of credit union experience, his new employer said.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Dammann has been at the $42 million Soo Line Credit Union in Savage, Minn., for the past two years, including serving as president/CEO since July and senior vice president before that. He also had been senior vice president at the $140 million Anoka Hennepin Credit Union in Coon Rapids, Minn., and president/CEO at the former Anoka County FCU, the latter from 1998 to 2008, his profile said.
Dammann is a graduate of St. Cloud State University and is a Certified Credit Union Executive who also serves on the Board of Directors of CU Companies in New Brighton, Minn., United Educators said.
United Educators was established in 1957 and now serves the education community and supporters of the United Educators Foundation through branch locations in Apple Valley, Coon Rapids, Eden Prairie, St. Louis Park, and Woodbury, Minn., the credit union said.
