Fifty backpacks stuffed with school supplies – and some extras for teachers – were donated by employees of the $825 million St. Anne’s Credit Union to Greene Elementary School in Fall River.
Employees donated all the supplies and 25 of the backpacks. St. Anne’s President/CEO Ross Upton donated the other 25 backpacks on behalf of the 58,100-member Fall River credit union. “We want to help our future leaders carry their knowledge to school,” he said.
