GESA Breaks Ground on Two New Branches
The $1.2 billion Gesa Credit Union in Richland, Wash., recently broke ground to build two new full-service branches, one in Pasco and the other in Richland.
The Pasco location will replace an existing branch located in a retail center.
Both branches will be constructed using Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design standards for energy savings, water efficiency, carbon monoxide emissions reductions and improved indoor environmental quality.
Both branches, expected to open in early 2014, will house on-site mortgage and commercial lending officers, certified financial consultants, touch-screen kiosks, drive-thru stations and ATMs.
“When we choose to build a new branch, we give careful consideration to location,” said Don Miller, Gesa CU’s interim president/CEO. “ We have selected these locations in west Pasco and south Richland based on the feedback we have received directly from our members."
Currently, Gesa CU operates 12 branches and serves 113,079 members.
