Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, Groton, Conn., has named Todd Cooke its new mortgage officer. Cooke has more than a decade’s worth of experience in the real estate industry. Cooke is the fourth mortgage officer on Charter Oak’s residential lending team. Cooke is a member of the National Association of Realtors as well as the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors. He is a graduate of Killingly High School and attended Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson and Hesser College in Manchester, N.H.
Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union, Alpena, Mich., recently welcomed Meaghan Richey. Richey moved to Alpena from the Traverse City area in April. She is from Cincinnati Ohio and received her bachelor’s in business from Miami University in 2006. She joined AAACU as a marketing specialist and currently works at the main branch in Alpena. Richey brings over eight years of marketing and communications experience to the position. She most recently was the development manager for Fishtown Preservation Society in Leland, Mich. Before that she was the director of public relations for FAST Physical Therapy in Traverse City.
