Numerica Picks Hometown DR Backup Vendor
The $1.2 billion Numerica Credit Union in Spokane, Wash., said it is now using the disaster recovery and compliance services of hometown provider IT-Lifeline.
The Spokane company’s DR solution allows the 95,900-member credit union to vault data in real time instead of recovering it from tape, as well as to demonstrate successful testing of critical IT systems to regulators.
“The IT-Lifeline solution enables us to cut recovery times from days to hours and reduces the compliance burden so that we can continue focusing on providing great service for our members,” said Kelley Ferguson, chief information officer at Numerica.
IT-Lifeline said it now serves 16 credit unions, 16 banks and 10 other financial services providers, including insurance and securities firms.
