Letter: More Attention Needed on Disasters
With the arrival of hurricane season each year, credit unions know they need to pay more attention to preparing for disasters, particularly to protect members’ account records and related information.
I commend the Louisiana League for launching a radio program promoting the role shared branching can play during periods of high storm activity. (“Louisiana League Message: Hurricane Season and Shared Branching,” Credit Union Times, May 31). It’s a well-timed, precautionary reminder, but it shouldn’t stop there.
