Dale Turner New SVP for Real Estate at SDCCU

The $5.8 billion, 242,000-member San Diego County Credit Union has named Dale Turner to the newly created position of senior vice president, real estate.

Turner will be in charge of SDCCU’s lending portfolio and strategies, as well as real estate lending and processing activities, including first mortgages, construction and home equity loans.

“SDCCU customers will benefit from his leadership and advisory on best practices and new business development initiatives. His appointment further strengthens our market-leading position as we move forward with our strategic growth initiatives,” said SDCCU President/CEO Teresa Halleck.

Turner had been vice president of lending at the $1 billion Eli Lilly FCU in Indianapolis and prior to that head of retail lending for First National Bank in Bemidji, Minn., his new employer said. He has a bachelor’s degree from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind., and a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

"I am thrilled and honored to join the team at San Diego County Credit Union,” Turner said in the SDCCU announcement. “I am committed to ensuring our organization continues the long-standing reputation of success by providing the best products and services to the communities we serve, while looking for opportunities to assist our organization in bringing more convenience to our customers and exceeding expectations every chance we get."
