The $2 billion TDECU in Lake Jackson, Texas, partnered in February with Greater Mount Zion Church to host free weekly financial wellness seminars. The effort culminated with 232 participants receiving educational resources, TDECU goodie bags and the interactive use of computers. Refreshments and babysitting also were offered during the TDECU-led sessions to make it more convenient for community members to attend.
