CNP Transition to Alloya Corporate Complete

The Warrenville, Ill.-based Alloya Corporate FCU announced Tuesday it has completed its transition of Core Network Processing from the defunct U.S. Central FCU.

The Lenexa, Kan.-based CNP provides core processing services used for cash management by more than 2,000 credit unions.

Alloya won CNP’s bid request in March 2012 after the NCUA announced it would shutter U.S. Central. In a release, the $1.4 billion Alloya said in addition to a smooth data-center migration, the offering featured significant IT-infrastructure upgrades, thus strengthening operations for CNP’s credit-union members.

Worknet Inc., a managed IT services provider headquartered in suburban Chicago, helped design Alloya’s new CNP offering, which is now called “Technology Services Powered by Worknet.”

The transition of CNP’s computing environment to Worknet’s Chicago and Indianapolis data centers happened quickly, over one weekend, Alloya said.

“Thanks in large part to Alloya’s experienced team and Worknet’s IT know-how, this transition not only went flawlessly, but credit unions utilizing CNP to perform cash-management functions now have new benefits,” said Todd Adams, chief financial officer, senior vice president and director, affiliated business services, at Alloya.
