Four credit unions have been listed among the “best companies to work for in New York State” and will be honored at a public dinner in Albany in April.
The $3.7 billion, 267,446-member Hudson Valley FCU in Poughkeepsie was the only credit union that made the list for large companies that have 250 or more employees.
Three credit unions – the $746 million, 52,975-member Quorum FCU in Purchase, the $347 million, 38,593-member Reliant Community FCU in Sodus and $460 million, 39,798-member SeaComm FCU in Massena – were listed among the small to medium companies that have 15 to 249 employees.
The credit unions participated in a two-part survey of employee satisfaction and engagement as well as workplace practices and policies. An independent firm evaluated the results to determine the best workplaces in the Empire State.
The program is a partnership by New York’s Human Resource Management, Journal Multimedia Corp. and the Business Council of New York.
