Banking by iPad From $91 Million Montgomery County Employees FCU

The $91 million Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit FCU in Germantown, Md., is now offering banking by iPad to its 13,700 members.

MC EFCU said a recent survey showed that 53% of its members were using a tablet or other mobile device to access their accounts.

“We’re pleased to introduce the new iPad app, along with other mobile applications, as they are becoming such an important new tool for our members,” said Jim Norris, the credit union’s CEO.

Intuit Financial Services of Calabasas, Calif., is the credit union’s technology provider for online and mobile banking services, MC ECU said.

The Maryland credit union serves public sector employees from Montgomery County agencies and said it recently expanded its charter to add employees and retirees from both Montgomery County Public Schools and Montgomery College.
