U.S. New Mexico Names Majors to Succeed Raquet

The $731 million U.S. New Mexico Credit Union in Albuquerque said Friday that James Raquet has retired after more than 10 years as its president/CEO and that he has been succeeded by Marsha Majors.

Majors had been the 68,200-member U.S. New Mexico’s executive vice president. She began her 27-year credit union career as a retirement account administrator.

“I am very confident that our strong track record of providing excellent member service, auto loans, mortgages, serving members of modest means, and community outreach, will continue,” Majors said in the credit union’s announcement.

“Our credit union continues to grow, and I look forward to providing the best products and services to our members,” she said.

Raquet served as the credit union’s president/CEO from 1999 to 2003 and again from 2005 until his retirement.
