The merger’s conversion was completed Sunday, and San Francisco’s Fire CU branches were available to Bay Media FCU members Monday, according to Bay Media FCU’s site.

“With a proud history of serving employees of the San Francisco Chronicle among other Bay Area employers, we’re honored to continue this tradition of service to Bay Media’s 1,600 members who have joined the SF Fire Credit Union family,” San Francisco CU said in a statement.

With the merger, San Francisco Fire CU added its fourth branch, located in downtown’s Mint Plaza.
