Credit Union Times has learned that Mindy Kampen, wife of Dan Kampen, partner of credit union consulting firm The Rochdale Group and former CEO of U.S. Central Credit Union, has passed away at the age of 52.
She was diagnosed two months ago with a rare heart disorder and following a brief illness died on Saturday, Jan. 19.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, two children and their spouses, and sister Judy Brewer.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 3:30 p.m. at Heartland Community Church in Olathe, Kan.
In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations to Harvesters or City Union.
