United Heritage Foundation Gives $25,000 to Hospital

The United Heritage Charity Foundation has donated $25,000 to Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.

The charitable arm of the $716 million United Heritage Credit Union in Austin gave the gift through the Children’s Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas.  The funds will go toward the hospital’s current expansion project.

“We appreciate United Heritage Charity Foundation’s lead gift to this campaign as it will be matched by the Clarke Family Foundation,” said the hospital foundation’s executive director, Maureen “Missy” Wood.

United Heritage said its foundation has distributed more than $1.1 million since its inception in 2003 to support local projects and organizations.

“The United Heritage Charity Foundation understands the importance of helping children and their families in their greatest times of need and believes strongly that this donation will be put to great use at Dell Children’s Medical Center for that purpose,” said Chairman May Lofgreen.
