Florida Hospital Credit Union Converting to CU*BASE Core

The $41 million, 8,550-member Florida Hospital Credit Union in Altamonte Springs, Fla., will be converting this year to the CU*BASE core processing system from CU*Answers, the Grand Rapids, Mich., CUSO said.

Florida Hospital CU will run the system online and also will be using CU*Answers’ hosted online and mobile banking, archival and CU*Talk audio response systems, the company said.

The conversion is set for August, CU*Answers said. Florida Hospital CU currently runs on a Fiserv DataSafe core processing platform and Fiserv CUSA home banking, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.

There now are more than 200 credit unions running the CU*BASE platform, and CU*Answers has more than 100 owners.
