The $5.2 billion, 540,500-member Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union in Tampa, Fla., said it has installed new cash dispensers from ARCA of Mebane, N.C., in 13 of its 53 branches.
The ARCA CM18 cash recycler eliminates the need for open cash drawers as it automatically counts, authenticates and secures deposited cash and makes it immediately available for withrdrawals, increasing security and efficiency, the company said.
“This upgrade allows us to focus more on serving our members instead of counting, banding and denominating cash,” said JoAnn Allen, teller operations manager at Suncoast Schools, Florida’s largest credit union.
Further installations are expected in 2013, the company and credit union said.
