The Kids-N-Hope Foundation of the $1.2 billion, 119,000-member American Heritage Federal Credit Union has concluded its fundraising year with a $100,000 contribution to the Children’s Seashore House of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The hospital’s music therapy program will use the funds to provide musical equipment, a music therapist and guest performers trained to help children with developmental disabilities.

This year’s contribution is a $20,000 increase from last year’s gift to the Children’s Seashore House, which offers specialized care and rehabilitation to children with developmental disabilities or chronic illnesses.

The foundation was created in 1996. Fundraising events, including the Gelatin Olympics and Golf Classic, are held throughout the year by American Heritage employees.
