It’s never too early to purchase tickets for the National Credit Union Foundation Herb Wegner Memorial Awards Dinner.
The 25th annual dinner will take place on Feb. 25, 2013, at the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C.
The awards ceremony will celebrate the highest national honors in the credit union movement, specifically:
- Lifetime Achievement: Rick Craig, former president/CEO of America First Federal Credit Union.
- Lifetime Achievement: Hubert H. Hoosman Jr, president/CEO of Vantage Credit Union.
- Outstanding Program: Credit Union Miracle Day
The awards have been named in honor of the late CUNA CEO Herb Wegner, whose tireless dedication, innovative ideas and deeds revolutionized the ways that credit unions serve their communities, the foundation said.
The awards that bear Wegner’s name recognize his spirit of “innovative, creative, risk-taking” leadership.
