Navy Federal Opens Branch No. 225

The $50 billion Navy Federal Credit Union said this week it is opening its 225th branch and its 14th in Maryland.

The branch at Governor’s Plaza in Glen Burnie will serve more than 21,000 local members, the world’s largest credit union said.

“I’m excited to see us expand our footprint in Maryland near Baltimore,” said Cindy Velazquez, branch manager for the Vienna, Va.-based Navy Federal.

Branch hours are weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an ATM also on site.
