Alaska USA Insurance Brokers has acquired the book of business of Anchorage-based Rentschler Insurance Agency.
RIA’s operations were integrated into Alaska USA Insurance Brokers, effective Sept. 1. “RIA clients will not be impacted by the change in regards to policies, terms or conditions,” said Timothy Maudsley, president of Alaska USA Insurance Brokers. “We look forward to continuing to provide them with service, quality and convenience under the Alaska USA Insurance Brokers name.”
RIA has served commercial insurance clients in Alaska for more than 25 years. RIA employees, including owner Larry Rentschler, will join the Alaska USA team to ensure a smooth transition, and will relocate to the Alaska USA Financial Center offices in Anchorage.
Alaska USA Insurance Brokers was established in 1986 as a subsidiary of Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. With a staff of nearly 110 insurance professionals, it provides commercial and personal insurance for more than 11,000 individual and business clients. Alaska USA Insurance Brokers has offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kenai, Soldotna, and Wasilla, Alaska, as well as in Federal Way, Gig Harbor, Tacoma, and Seattle, Wash.
