CUES on Tuesday announced the winners of the 2012 Golden Mirror Awards competition.
Of the 508 entries received by CUES, 150 earned awards for marketing excellence and the following four entries garnered top honors:
- GMA Pinnacle Award—John Speaker, $616 million Tulsa Federal Credit Union, Tulsa, Okla.,
- GMA Best Campaign—Kristen Scott, $478 million Telhio Credit Union, Columbus, Ohio
- Rookie of the Year—Dohnia Dorman, $193 million, Rio Grande Credit Union, Albuquerque, N.M.,
- GMA Golden Shoestring—Monica Gilmore, $115 million Community 1st Credit Union, DuPont, Wash.
The GMA Pinnacle Award is new this year and is selected from among first-place winners of categories other than Coordinated Campaigns. CUES’ GMA Best Campaign is the top honor awarded to one of the first-place winners from the three asset divisions in the Coordinated Campaigns category.
In addition, CUES’ GMA Rookie of the Year is awarded to a marketer who has been employed by a credit union for two years or less; the winner is selected from among all winning GMA entries submitted by credit union rookies. CUES’ GMA Golden Shoestring is awarded to a highly successful marketing piece within the constraints of a shoestring budget.
