East Idaho Credit Union has tapped Brad Bauges as its new president/CEO.

The former senior vice president/chief operations officer at Vancouver, Wash.-based Columbia Credit Union brings more than 12 years of experience to the $267 million Idaho Falls credit union.

“I am honored to be joining such a strong and longstanding organization. This is an amazing opportunity to become part of a great team and community, and I am eager to get started,” Bauges said.

Prior to Columbia CU, Bauges served as vice president of branch services for TDECU, where he helped to significantly increase their membership base and product offerings, his new employer said.

He holds a bachelor of science in business management from Oregon Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He also is a graduate of the CUES CEO Institute.
