Staff from the $612 million, 54,000-member Leominster Credit Union have been volunteering their time and labor this summer at two Habitat for Humanity sites in Leominster and Worcester, Mass.

Earlier this year, LCU donated $5,000 to Habitat and then financed the two current projects for Habitat for Humanity-Metro West/Greater Worcester.

“As a community credit union, we’ve been helping people achieve their dream of homeownership through our real estate lending products and services,” said Gordon Edmonds, LCU president/CEO.

“It’s rewarding for us to also assist those who might not have that opportunity without the help of Habitat for Humanity.  We are delighted to partner with this great organization,” he said.
