Kellogg Community Helps Get Word Out
The $394 million Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union has partnered with Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes on a billboard campaign to help raise funds for the organization’s Food is Fuel Kids Campaign. The Battle Creek, Mich., credit union pooled resources for the 12 billboards and received pro bono help from GreenStreet Advertising and Marketing and Adams Outdoor Advertising.
“One in four children lives below the poverty line in Kalamazoo County and many of these kids do not know where their next meal is coming from. This billboard campaign we worked on with KCFCU will help bring awareness to the community that we need help feeding these children,” said Jennifer Johnson, resource and public relations director for KLF.
Susan Balbaugh, senior marketing manager for KCFCU, said, “KLF has done a wonderful job of feeding Kalamazoo families. When KCFCU learned the need for donations is highest in the summer months, we knew we wanted to help.”
