Ent Enhances Mobile Offerings

Colorado Credit Union Adds Bill Pay, PFM

New bill pay functions and enhanced personal financial management options are part of the integrated new mobile banking options at the $3.6 billion Ent Federal Credit Union in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The 214,000-member Ent FCU said it has used a mix of vendors and in-house development staff as its mobile services evolved and has now integrated various functions into single apps for Android and iPhone users.

The iPhone app was developed in-house and with Online Resources Corp., the credit union’s online banking provider, while Effective UI was added to help with the Android app. The Ent Locator App was provided by LocatorSearch, mobile check deposit from Vertifi Software in June 2011 and a PFM tool was first added in June 2010 and enhanced last month, Ent said.

“This comprehensive, all-in-one mobile banking app provides added convenience to our members who are smart phone users. Mobile banking has been adopted quickly, with more than 8,800 members, about one-third of our mobile banking users, logging on through an app in the past 90 days,” said Cathy Grossman, Ent’s vice president of corporate communications and development.

Ent’s free mobile banking apps are available in the Apple App Store and at Google Play.
