The $650 million Silver State Schools Credit Union recently presented a check for $15,000 to the Children's Miracle Network hospitals of St. Rose in Las Vegas. The St. Rose hospitals became CMN hospitals in 2004 and since then SSSCU members and employees have donated more than $100,000 to support their work. Fundraising efforts include selling See’s Candies on holidays throughout the year, selling paper icons to decorate the branch walls, and stationing donation jars in SSSCU branches, as well as selling the annual Las Vegas Entertainment Book. This year’s check presentation took place on May 31, 2012, at St. Rose Dominican - Siena Campus.
