CUNA Mutual Group and the CUNA Lending Council are looking for the industry’s top credit union lenders to be considered for its annual lending awards.
Entries for the 2012 Excellence in Lending awards are now being accepted for consumer lending and mortgage lending. Credit unions with assets less than $250 million and more than $250 million will be recognized respectively for each category.
Nominations are also being accepted for business lending at any asset level and low/modest means at any asset level.
Created in 2000, the Excellence in Lending awards identify and share examples of lending excellence within the credit union movement by recognizing individual credit unions for their ability to serve members while sustaining sound financial performance, according to CUNA Mutual and the CUNA Lending Council.
Awards will be presented at the council’s annual conference Nov. 4-7 in Miami Beach. Airfare, hotel and conference registration for one representative of each of the winning credit unions is included with the award.
Applications and more information regarding the awards are available online. The deadline for submitting applications is Aug. 17.
