For its record in hiring and retaining military personnel, Navy Federal Credit Union was recently named one of 2012’s Most Valuable Employers for Military by CivilianJobs.com.
The $48 billion credit union in Vienna, Va., was among the 45 employers selected based on surveys that outlined recruiting, training and retention plans that best serve military service members and veterans, according to CivilianJobs.com.
Navy Federal was recognized along with others including financial service providers Citi, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and USAA.
Sandra Morris, CEO of Bradley-Morris Inc., the parent company of CivilianJobs.com, said there is a growing trend of more employers focusing their resources on hiring and retaining military.
