Little Angel

Eden Angel was among the younger participants in the Walk MS event this month at Carrier Park along the French Broad River in Asheville, N.C., and she had a special reason to be there. Her dad, Chris, is the Fletcher branch manager for the $138 million Mountain Credit Union, whose staff participated in the walk in honor of team captain, Leigh Angel, Eden’s mother, who has multiple sclerosis. Several other area businesses and organizations joined in this year to support the team as sponsors or hosting events leading up to the walk and all proceeds will go to the Greater Carolinas Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. “Mountain Credit Union has been a huge part of our Walk MS team since 2003,” said Leigh Angel. “Their hard work is very much appreciated and with their help, our teams have turned in close to $20,000 over the past nine years.”

Here's the whole Angel family. They're Eden, 2, Rebekah, 7, Leigh and Chris.
