The $567 million Freedom Credit Union in Warminster, Pa., said it is now offering its 58,000 members remote deposit checking on Android devices.
The My Deposit Mobile offering is a new part of the mobile banking solution the credit union is deploying through CO-OP Financial Services of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., the credit union and CUSO said.
“CO-OP My Deposit Mobile with Android support helps credit unions gain a competitive advantage because many financial institutions that have mobile products have not yet deployed a remote deposit function,” said Stan Hollen, president/CEO of CO-OP Financial Services.
The RDC service has been available for iPhones for more than a year at Freedom CU.
