UT FCU Names a Spokes Hero

Major League Star Goes to Bat for Alma Mater CU

Add spokes hero to Chase Headley’s resume.

The former University of Tennessee Volunteer and current professional baseball player with the San Diego Padres has been tapped as UT Federal Credit Union’s Smokey Savers Club spokes hero.

Designed for kids up to 12 years old, the youth account offers members incentives to save as well as quarterly newsletters and birthday cards as ways to encourage good savings habits.

“There are many reasons to look up to Chase as an athlete and role model.  We are happy to have him promote the importance of a good financial head start for children at the credit union,” said Malinda Wood, vice president of marketing.
