Android support has been added to the iPhone option for remote check deposit through smartphones available from CO-OP Financial Services, the big CUSO said.
Adding support for what CO-OP said is the fastest-growing mobile platform will allow credit unions to better appeal to younger, tech-savvy members, CO-OP said.
“CO-OP My Deposit Mobile with Android support helps credit unions gain a competitive advantage because many financial institutions that have mobile products have not yet deployed a remote deposit function,” said Stan Hollen, president/CEO for CO-OP in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
CO-OP My Deposit Mobile was launched about a year ago for iPhones. The Android app is immediately available, CO-OP said.
It said the interface design and navigation for the Android RDC app is similar to the existing browser mode for Android devices on the CO-OP Mobile platform.
