Hoping to tap into what it sees as an underserved segment within the industry, Midwest Community Federal Credit Union has launched a small business services program.
The $129 million credit union in Defiance, Ohio turned to its marketing agency to help overhaul the financial institution’s website to play up the new offerings.
“We believe that small and medium-sized businesses have been traditionally overlooked by the credit union industry,” said Sonja Delaney, president/CEO of MCFCU.
The credit union offers a range of business services including loans, checking and savings accounts, credit card processing and online and mobile banking. Its website has a learning center section that has links to the SBA and other agencies related to small business development.
