Web-based security awareness training for credit unions to offer their commercial members is now being offered by Jack Henry & Associates’ ProfitStars division.
The Gladiator eCommercial Security Awareness Training also will help financial institutions comply with online authentication requirements contained in the FFIEC guidance issued last summer.
eCommercial SAT contains customized tools–including information on external and internal threats, webcasts and reporting tools–for banks and credit unions to use to educate commercial users of online banking to risks and best practices for using that channel.
"Examiners are expected to assess financial institutions' electronic banking compliance and security standards against the new FFIEC guidance this year, and customer education is an area likely to be scrutinized,” said Jackie Marshall, director of Gladiator IT regulatory compliance for ProfitStars.
