BALANCE, the financial education and counseling service, is providing a rebate to long-term credit union partners in appreciation of their loyalty.
The rebate, provided to credit unions with full counseling partnerships for more than a year, above a specific price point for service, is reflected on reduced service invoices in February or March.
“We have so much respect for the credit union industry, especially those credit unions who made the choice to continue to make sure their members had access to the tools they need for financial success.” said Joanne Budde, president of BALANCE. “This rebate is a way to show our appreciation.”
More than 600 credit unions nationwide, representing more than 28 million members, partner with BALANCE to strengthen member relationships, reduce losses, support salary advance or overdraft privilege programs, provide identity theft tools and support, and provide financial management tools for their members. Many use the partnership as an outreach tool to serve the underserved in their communities, as an additional selling point to current and potential SEGs, and as a differentiation from other financial institutions.
