A team of 17 employees and family members from the $1.9 billion Redwood Credit Union in Santa Rosa, Calif., braved wet and windy conditions to join approximately 60 other community volunteers to participate in the third annual Laguna de Santa Rosa Tree-a-Thon—a local tree-planting effort to help preserve the Laguna’s oak woodlands ecosystem, restore lost animal habitats and provide food for the Laguna’s native wildlife. More than 600 trees and shrubs were planted at the event.
Below, financial adviser Mike DeFazio and Christy Kerston, the wife of another Redwood CU financial adviser, also participated in the tree-planting venture.
