Lisa Cox has returned to NAFCU as the organization’s director of events and educations, the association said.
Cox joined NAFCU in 2008 as associate director of events and education, developing educational program content and overseeing operations for conferences and webcasts. She left earlier this year to serve as director of event management for York Telecom Corp., NAFCU said.
As director, she now will be in charge of NAFCU’s major educational events, including the Annual Conference and Exhibition, and bi-weekly webcasts.
“Lisa played a key role in delivering NAFCU conferences and webcasts that are both well-attended and highly regarded among credit union professionals,” said NAFCU COO Anthony Demangone. “Her established knowledge of the credit union industry and insight will prove invaluable in developing innovative and informative programs in the future.”
