American Southwest Credit Union CEO Brian Barkdull, left, and his riding teammate and physical therapist Dr. Tom Goulding, take a break after a 42-mile bike ride they recently participated in as part of the El Tour de Tucson. Barkdull had shoulder surgery last year and worked with Goulding in his recovery. He also raised $1,400 for his chosen charity, the Wounded Warrior Project, by betting other Arizona CEOs that he could do the ride in under 2.5 hours. He made it in 2:27:28, Barkdull said.
