Corporate Central Lauds Retiring Forsythe

Gerald Forsythe has retired as CEO of the $843 million Altra Federal Credit Union of La Crosse, Wis., and as board chairman of Corporate Central Credit Union, the Muskego, Wis., corporate said.

Sally Dischler, president/CEO of the $173 million Heartland CU of Madison, Wis., was selected by the board to replace Forsythe, Corporate Central said.

Forsythe had been with Altra FCU for 25 years, including 23 as CEO, and has been on the Corporate Central board for 10 years, including serving as chair since 2010, the corporate said.

“Corporate Central Credit Union is thankful for his stewardship, leadership, and many years of Service and wishes him the very best in his well-deserved retirement,” Corporate Central said in a statement.

Dischler has been with Heartland CU for 34 years, becoming president/CEO in 2001. She currently is CUES Wisconsin Council chairman and a past president of the Madison Chapter of Credit Unions.
