A free mobile app that can be used by any Internet-enabled mobile device has been rolled out by the $442 million Insight Credit Union in Orlando, Fla.
The platform was provided by FI-MOBILE of Austin, Texas, and the functionality was developed in-house by the staff of the 53,000-member credit union.
Features include balances, histories, transfers and branch locators and the app is available through the Apple App Store and the Android Market, Insight said.
“Our members have been requesting a mobile app, and we are excited to respond to their needs and improve their access to the credit union. We are looking forward to continued development of the mobile app as we add even more features including Bill Payer and remote deposit capture later this year,” said George R. Davis, Insight’s president/CEO.
The 75-year-old Insight CU has 10 locations and is open for membership to anyone who lives or works in Orange, Seminole, Lake, Brevard, Volusia, Sumter, Putnam, Citrus or Marion counties.
