Wisconsin Credit Unions Merge

First Community to Take in Members of Rock County Empl

First Community Credit Union, Beloit, Wis., announced that the members of Rock County Employees Credit Union, Janesville, Wis., have voted to merge their credit union into First Community Credit Union.

The merger is the third for First Community and the second in the Janesville market.

"We are extremely proud to have been selected for this merger. FCCU shares the same member service philosophy that RCECU has always had and we are looking forward to continuing our growth in Janesville,"  said First Community President Jack Gill.

The RCECU office will be consolidated into the existing FCCU office. All of the RCECU employees have agreed to stay on with FCCU. The merger will boost FCCU’s assets to almost $80 million with more than 14,000 members.
