Locals in central and eastern Georgia have experienced the credit union difference firsthand.

The Robins Federal Credit Union SWAG Patrol has been surprising area residents with random acts of kindness. Once “swagged,” recipients were encouraged to pay it forward.

From treating someone to a free gas fill-up and delivering pizza to the the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department as a way to thank the deputies for their tireless service, to purchasing groceries, the team of six do-gooders plan to continue surprising people throughout the fall.

Clues on where the SWAG Patrol will be next are left on the Warner Robins, Ga.-based credit union’s Facebook page. In addition, a microsite has also been created to share photos, videos of those “swagged” and provide a forum for area residents.
