The Credit Union Executives Society has whittled down 560 entries to 144 winners of the group’s 2011 Golden Mirror Awards.
The Golden Mirror Awards were created to recognize credit union marketing excellence.
Of the 144 GMA winners, three entrants brought home the top honors: GMA Best of Show– Joline Epple, Target Credit Union, Minneapolis; GMA Rookie of the Year–Janna Bergstedt, First Community Credit Union, Jamestown, N.D., and GMA Golden Shoestring–marketing team at Belvoir Federal Credit Union, Woodridge, Va.
CUES’ GMA Best of Show is awarded to one of the first-place winners from all asset divisions in the coordinated campaigns category and recognizes a single marketing effort that incorporates a variety of integrated approaches. The Rookie of the Year is awarded to a marketer with less than two years of industry experience and is selected from among all winning GMA entries. The Golden Shoestring is awarded to an entrant who developed a highly successful marketing strategy on a shoestring budget.
