New Hampshire CU Gets 9/11 Tree

The staff at Holy Rosary Credit Union in Rochester, N.H., gathered on Monday around this special tree planted in front of their corporate office to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001. Families of United Airlines Flight 93, the airliner that went down in Pennsylvania while passengers and crew resisted the terrorist attack, had planted the sweet gum trees originally, and it was given to Holy Rosary CU by the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Brian Hughes, president /CEO of the $168 million HRCU, said, “On this 10th anniversary, every American wants to do something to remember the lives that were lost in this tragic incident. The planting of this tree and plaque placed out front at HRCU will serve as a reminder of the heroes of that day.”
