The 500 or so credit unions that use infrastructure protection services from Perimeter E-Security are now being offered a cloud-based messaging solution that supports the Microsoft Exchange 2010 system.
Called SaaS Secure Messaging 6.0, the service provides compliant, secured service for messaging, anti-virus and spam protection, data leak prevention, business continuity mirroring, archiving and mobile management, the Milford, Conn.-company said.
The service is being offered through USA.NET, a brand of Perimeter E-Security.
Perimeter E-Security said its solution is the first cloud-based offering of its type in the market to include Exchange 2010. It also supports Exchange 2007, as well as Microsoft’s SharePoint and Communicator software, according to the firm.
The company said its software now filters 50 million emails, analyzes 240 million security events and manages 200 terabytes of customer archives each day for about 6,000 customers.
