Get ready to gather round the CU Water Cooler Symposium.
The second annual symposium, slated for Sept. 29-30 at the FORUM Conference Center in Fishers, Ind., has been dubbed the “un-conference” for its unique interactive format.
CUWaterCooler.com’s nine editors each selected a speaker who aligned with their interests and the site’s public selected Jim Craig, vice president of marketing at 1st Advantage Credit Union, to fill the 10th speaker slot.
The speaker mix ranges from Ron Shevlin, Aité Group senior analyst challenging conventional wisdom regarding financial service marketing and social media with “Quantipulation: The Art of Using Numbers to Create Marketing Myths and Misconceptions” to Jayson Halladay, Piggymojo founder/CEO, discussing how new ideas can help connect with consumers by solving their problems in “The Mojo of Transformational Ideas.”
Attendees from 20 states and three Canadian provinces will also hear from Denise Wymore, vice president of marketing at Del Norte CU, who’ll explore how Baby Boomers have destroyed the American economy and, without change, the credit union movement in “The Boomification of Credit Unions”, as well as Charlie Trotter, Constellation31 principal and creative director, will peel back the curtain on how the people who make neat things make neat things in “Demystifying Creativity (Or, Vacationing in the Emerald City).”
Ticket sales for the event continue through Sept. 29, but registration is capped at 200 attendees.
